Lord Harihara is the avatar of Lord Vishnu (Hari) and Lord Shiva (Hara). Harihara is often termed as Shankarnarayana. It is believed that by performing their puja, both Lords are appeased and they help in eliminating all the evil forces from one’s life there by bringing happiness and prosperity. Lord Harihara represents Lord Vishnu (Hari) and Lord Shiva (Hara) from the hindu tradition.
