Description :

RaghuNath means Lord of the Raghus. Meaning Lord of the Dynasty of Raghu.

Raghu was the great grandfather of Shri Rama, grandfather of Dasharatha, after whom the Suryavanshi (solar dynasty) clan of the Raghuvansh was named. Raghu was among the greatest and mightiest of all Suryavanshi kings and rulers, the direct descendent of Surya (the Sun god).

In Tretayuga, Bhagavan Vishnu took the form of a human and took birth into the Suryavansha dynasty to destroy dharmadrohis and to re establish Dharma.Because of this, Shri Rama is referred to as : Raghunath – the lord of the Raghu Dynasty.
