As per Garg Samhita, Krishna and Radha were married under the priest ship of Shri Brahma Ji himself. Shri Krishna himself became a female form called Radhika and showed the world meaning of true love and then later after the end of his Leela to show the world true love, Radhika (who was also Shri Krishna) emerged into male body (original form) of Shri Krishna and at end when Shri Krishna’s incarnation’s purpose was done, he left this body and went to Vaikuntha again.  Radha was incarnation of Bhakti Devi, Mahalakshmi who took the form of a Gopi to assist Lord Krishna in teaching the true meaning of love.

Lord Narayan and Devi Mahalakshmi are already the other halves of each other.
